Good Product…Horrific Customer Service
I like the SkyCaddy SG2.5 GPS rangefinder. I only play a couple of different courses and they are already mapped in the database. I like knowing the prescise yardage to the pin and this is made possible by having the ability to use the cusrsor keys to move the location of the flag placement on the iGreen display.

As much as I like the product, I absolutely abhor, hate, loathe and generally dislike the customer service of SkyGolf. I dropped my unit and broke the LCD display. My fault, ok! So let’s get it repaired. Call SkyCaddy and get told by the automated attendant that the wait time is on the order of 65 minutes…whoa!! So jump on line and get their on-line customer service chat thing going, and am told that they can’t give me an RMA because I need to call in and talk to a person…uh, excuse me, aren’t you a person on the other end of the keyboard??

To date, I still don’t have my repaired unit back in my hands.

Bottom line is: Good product, lousy customer service. If I was going to spend my money again knowing what I know now, I would go with the laser range-finder.

Great Product, but doesn’t work with Vista
I already own a Pinseeker — that decision being based on the horror stories I’ve read about SkyGolf’s customer service, and about using their website. I ran into one of their guys who was mapping a course,and he assured me that many of those issues had been resolved, and that he was in San Diego to upgrade all the courses to 4 stars — even the exec par-3s. So I gave it a shot. It didn’t work out of the box. The unit wouldn’t interface with Windows Vista. I switched to Windows XP and setup/download worked flawlessy. I’ve only used it for four or five rounds so far, and even dropped it once. It’s well built, compact, and operation is reliable — at least as reliable as one can expect from a GPS-based range finder. The Pinseeker is inherently more accurate, but I do find the gps front/back yardage more useful. It’s also much more convenient than the Pinseeker. Whereas with the Pinseeker I’d sometimes avoid usage for speed of play, I just have to glance at the SkyCadie on my bag and always have that extra piece of info. I gave it only 4 stars due to the Windows Vista interface issues, otherwise highly recommend it.

Read the Fine Print on Your License Agreement
Before you purchase this product you need to be sure you understand their licensing plan for course data. I have used an SG2 for two years and I was very pleased with its performance on the golf course. You can read other reviews that I am sure will testify that it is a wonderful tool to have on the course. I went out today to play for only the second time this year. When I turned the SkyCaddie on, it gave me a message that said my “membership” expired two weeks ago, what would I like to do? I would like to finish my round of golf. It brought up the course as it always did and worked fine for three holes. On the fourth hole it gave me the same message but when I tried to just continue my round of golf I discovered that my “membership” service had just erased all the data on my SkyCaddie!! I paid for the hardware. I paid for the ten courses it allowed me to have in the unit (I was only using four.) The satellites belong to the Government and we can use them for free. But, because I didn’t instantly renew my “membership” they erased my course data!! In my mind, this would be like MicroSoft erasing my Windows XP because I didn’t upgrade to Vista. I find this to not only be aggravating but also unethical. I play 90% of my rounds on the same course. However, because I do travel a bit, I purchased their $50 membership that covers the United States. Now I find that if all I ever want to do is to play my home course, I will have to pay them $30 every year to do that, even though it is my hardware and I have paid for the course data. I will not renew. I am going to buy a Golf Buddy. They don’t even charge you the first time for the course data and there are no annual renewable “membership” fees.

iPod 32gb 2nd Gen
Pretty good product overall, nice sleek design, lot’s of reasons to own one, if not for music then for just about anything else. You can game, listen to music, read books, surf the net, watch videos on youtube, and much more, all on one handy device.

My only complaint is that you cannot use a stylus on a touch screen device, and when you can you can’t drag, you can only tap. Touch screens as most people know are very prone to smearing and collecting anything under the sun. Fingerprints are the main culprit on this machine.

The device is pretty straight forward as far as usage, and what you can’t pick up by just fiddling around, you have a descriptive instruction manual for. Zooming in is as simple as placing two fingers on the screen and dragging one inward or outward of the other finger, for scrolling up and down, just drag you finger vertical or horizontal, pretty much exactly what you’d expect. To rearrange your icons just hold your finger on any icon then drag the icons into the order you prefer.

If you don’t already own an iPod this is probably the best bet, just depends on the size you want.

Great, if you get a flawless one out of the box…
My first iTouch had a sticky lock button, took it back for a replacement and got one with a screen that had a weird effect when scrolling left-to-right that bugged me to no end. Rather than take it back for a 3rd, sent it into Apple who responded that they found nothing wrong with it, and sent it back as-is. Took it back for a refund and haven’t looked back.

It was very enjoyable while I had it, I could see myself using it daily and it makes me want an iPhone. But really, Apple needs to get their stuff together. Supposedly they switched screen manufacturers and the new screens have a weird interlacing effect on scrolling. Terribly annoying. Your mileage may vary.

Great basic computer for the money
I purchased this laptop after comparing price/performance for low cost laptops. I ruled out AMD CPUs as comparable Intel mobile processors are faster. I have been using this HP for 10 days and have found it to be an excellent computer after a number of changes as follows:
1. Uninstalled all the trial software and other programs I will not use.
2. Ran MSConfig, Startup, and removed every program from Startup except the four items for the Intel Graphics processor.
3. Went to Administrative Services and comparing it with the recommendations on [...] changed a lot of services from Automatic (startup) to either Manual or Disable. This removed a lot more programs that ran at startup.
4. Added a number of new programs that I use.
5. Upgraded the memory from 3GB to 4GB.

Even before I performed step 5. above, this computer was now very fast It uses an Intel T4200 mobile dual processor which is only about 8% slower than the Intel T6400 processor featured in most of the higher priced mainstream laptops. If you wish to upgrade memory, there is one step that is not included in any instructions I have seen. After changing a memory module, you must disconnect the hard drive for 5 seconds or more or your computer will not start. I found this out after an hour on the phone with HP tech support. I highly recommend HP tech support as I found them to be knowledgeable even if they are in India. Upgrading the memory will not void your warranty. One thing to note – the HP warranty is 90 days with HP paying for shipping both ways, labor and materials. After that for the balance of one year you pay shipping and labor and HP pays for parts.

Everything works well, from easy wireless connection to the modem, etc. I like everything about this laptop and recommend it if you can buy it a low price. HP has a rebate on this computer until June 27th, and also offers a full or partial rebate on certain HP printers when you buy this computer.

Love it
Great for taking to embroidery software classes which is why I bought it. It is light weight easy to carry with a large screen and great color. Have not had any problems with it. Don’t care much for Vista but that isn’t HP’s issue.

Good Little Work horse
I purchased the computer in Febrary, 2009 and it was used continually by me supporting the Tax Counseling for the Elderly Program(AARP). The machine did not miss a beat and it allowed me to assist well over 200 individuals. Now that tax season is over it is still a joy to use, connecting to the net or processing digital photo.’s. Consumer Review Magazine(2008), Ranked this Vacuum in the 6th spot! The Top 5 Vacuums, also were in the price ranges of $200 or more. So to see this at #6 on the List and having the Lowest Price tag – was funny! It beat out like 50 other models of Vacuums.
I have to say that I like it a lot! It cleans very well with little hassle. Its Not a light vacuum. But it cleans down deep! Its not loud – no louder than any other vacuum? Nothing noticeable about the way it sounds. There’s really nothing special about this vacuum, accept its price and cleaning power. Long cord/floor height adjuster/typical attachments/carry handle/lights/etc…
The only thing I don’t care for is: when using the attachments with the hose – the Brush Keeps on spinning, in motion. I would have liked to see something where the brush could be turned off while using the attachments with the hose. But thats it as far as dislikes.
Overall its a great vacuum. My Boss at work owns one, and he says the same thing about his. Him, like myself, were satisfied at how good it cleans and runs.

No frills, but works great!
This is a no-frills vacuum cleaner, but its cheap and works very well. Just be sure to keep the bag cleaned out and make sure the hose doesn’t get cloged. Also, if the belt breaks, it is pretty easy to fix.

Vacuum cleaner that really “sucks”
The Hoover U5140-900 Tempo Widepath Vacuum cleaner is a great bargain found on Amazon. It beats price and performance of other models of vacuum cleaners I could find locally, such as what is available at Wal-Mart.

The vacuum has a strong suction and cleans very well. It also has very handy attachments to get into the little nooks and crannies you may have. Very useful for cleaning during preparation for the Feast of Unleavened Bread!

I purchased the vacuum along with bags and extra belts for use in the future. You never know when a belt may break and it will be nice to have one on hand already.

If you were like me and on a budget, shopping around at the local stores trying to find a new vacuum you could trust, look no further than this one and purchase it here from Amazon. I don’t trust the cheap brands sold at Wal-Mart and other local stores. It’s mostly junk unless you want to spend the big bucks, and honestly I think this vacuum may rival their suction and cleaning power.

It’s a good deal! I highly doubt you will regret it.

A newbie bicyclist that’s happy with this helmet
I just started bike riding again after not having ridden since I was a teenager. Back then if you wore a helmet, you were laughed at. Nowadays I think you’re foolish if you don’t wear one.

I knew that I wanted one that was comfortable first and stylish second. With the Giro Indicator Sport Bike Helmet I have both. The initial fit was pretty easy and I was ready to go riding within about 10 minutes. I like that it’s lightweight and breathes nicely. Also I have long hair and as another reviewer mentioned it’s easy to put into a ponytail and slip through the back for better comfort.

Overall an excellent helmet and I think the reviews show that. The price is worth it especially if it ends up saving your life.

New biker and just getting into the whole bike accessory thing — I tried several helmets and for me, this one was the most comfortable and stlyish without looking too goofy. I went with the Titanium color. I like the numerous adjustments available to get a comfort fit. Easy to put on and buckle up and light and cool. For price, I think a great buy.

Five stars and worth it
I’ve read a lot of reviews and pros/cons about all the various Garmin models. After taking a trip to LA and using it repeatedly around my home town, I have to say I just love this Garmin 760 unit. The directions given are always spot-on; with plenty of advance notice of when to turn and on which street to turn on. The screen is large and very readable in bright sunlight.

Two other features that are really nice: 1) The built in library of points of interest – restaurants, gas stations, etc. This was extremely handy and easy to use. 2) The SD card slot is wonderful. You can load up your card with MP3 tunes, audio books, etc. and play them while you navigate. There’s a headphone jack output on the side, which allows you to pipe your tunes to your car stereo (if it has an input jack, of course). The tunes will pause if and when there are any directional commands from the unit.

One minor complaint is the somewhat slow ‘warm-up’ time when it’s trying to find and orient to the satellites. Usually it takes a minute or so.

Also, bluetooth connectivity is lacking. My wife’s cell phone is compatible (per the Garmin web site), but syncing it to the unit was very difficult. My Samsung cell phone, however, is not supported by the unit and couldn’t connect. If you absolutely have to have bluetooth, check the Garmin web site to see if your cell phone is supported.

Love my Garmin 760
My Garmin was everything I expected and more. The first week I had it, the feature that diverts you when there is heavy traffic literally saved me about an hour off my drive time. As far as I’m concerned, it paid for itself that day.

It was delivered even faster than expected and I’m very happy with the vendor I purchased it from. Price was great for the product.

Good Low Carb Bar.
This is probably the BEST Atkins bar out there, IMPO. The texture can be a bit crumbly, but the taste is PERFECT. I could not tell I was eating a low carb high protein bar at all.

What makes a low carb granola bar good? Taking a bite and not being able to tell that it is low fat, low carb, and high in protein.

These are moist,chewy,and packed with chocolate! Not only are there plenty of miniature chocolate chips inside the bar, but the bottom of the bar is chocolate coated. It makes for a quick, delicious, guilt-free breakfast. If you have a sweet tooth but cannot afford to eat the fat and calories in a pastry, grab one of these. These bars are great and taste like any carb loaded snack. The only thing keeping this from a five stars is the price but you will be hard pressed to find something to replace it.

I have used these as a great snack substitute either for breakfast or right before lunch to curb my appetite. It really does the trick!
